Tixie ™

Based in Portland, Oregon, Tixie sells contest advertising services to entertainment and adjacent retail markets.  

Contests have long been recognized for their magnetic ability to attract participation, and for the specific consumer information they can collect.  Tixie provides a set of services that allow marketers to run ongoing contests attracting and engaging contestants at their desktops and mobile devices. Tixie aggregates contests at and on the Tixie IOS app. The Tixie calendar that encourages participation through an assortment of prizes and associated rewards, while contestant behavior allows segmenting and targeting of consumers and offers. 

In 2013 Tixie successfully patented the company’s platform and method of providing contest advertising services.

Ken Brown, Chief Technology Officer

Former CTO, Protexis; CTO, Arvato Digital Services; Co-founder and CTO, Vesta, now Portland’s largest privately-held technology company.  Ken has invested in and assisted over a dozen new software ventures and holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley. 

Zach Hull, Vice President Business Development

Former Marketing Director, Index Media; Strategic Planner and Marketing Communications Manager, Vestas Americas.  Zach has a BA from Reed College and a JD from the University of Oregon School of Law.

Bobby Robertson, Vice President Operations

Former COO, Gigapan; Co-founder and VP of Business Development, Intelepoint; Co-founder Digital Development Corporation. Bobby holds both a BA and an MA in Telecom Policy from the University of Texas, Austin.

Gregory Wilson, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Wilson is a consulting CFO. Current clients include Tixie, Eurekster, CytomX Therapeutics, Afferent Pharmaceuticals, Ablexis, and OncoSynergy. Former clients include Protexis (acquired by Bertelsmann AG), Xros (acquired by Nortel), Biz360 (acquired by Attensity, Primaeva Medical (acquired by Syneron), Sapphire Medical (acquired by Tornier), and BARRx Medical (acquired by Covidien). Prior to consulting, he was CFO at Micronics Computers (acquired by Diamond Multimedia) and Dynamic Isolation Systems (acquired by Berwind). He has an MBA in Accounting from the University of Colorado, a BS in Biological Science from Colorado State University and is a CPA (inactive).
